POLISCOPE Professional stores your positions, notes, lists and reports. This page describes exactly how that data is separated and recorded today.
Tenant isolation in the application layer
Every read and write of workspace data runs through a scope check that resolves your membership in the workspace and your access to the client before any query runs. Queries are scoped by workspace and client, and records are keyed by both, so a request can’t reach another tenant’s rows by changing an id. A request for a record outside your scope is answered as "not found", the same as a record that does not exist.
Capabilities per role
Each workspace role (admin, manager, analyst, lobbyist, executive, recipient) carries a fixed list of capabilities, such as editing positions, assigning owners, managing lists or sending reports. Client access is granted separately, as manager, editor, viewer or recipient. The server checks the capability on every request; hiding a button is never the control.
An audit log that can’t be edited
Every change to workspace data writes an audit event in the same transaction: who made it, what it touched, and the values before and after. The audit tables reject updates and deletes at the database.
Share links you control
Reports can be shared as read-only links. Each link can be revoked, after which it stops working.
Your data leaves with you
Any tracking list exports to CSV or Excel with positions, priorities, owners, labels and notes counts. Reports export to PDF.
A separate sign-in
The professional site has its own host and its own session. Signing in to the consumer site at poliscope.vote does not sign you in here.
AI and your workspace
